Flat helix repair is a procedure that helps bring back a natural-looking curve to the outer edge of the ear. If the helix is flat, the ear may look less shaped or stick out more than you’d like. In some patients, Helical (helix ) reduction otoplasty can also help refine the ear’s overall appearance. These results show how small, precise adjustments can make a noticeable difference in ear shape and definition, while still keeping the outcome natural. Every procedure is tailored to the individual to create a result that feels balanced and fits comfortably with the rest of the face.

This is a great and unusual case of plasty. This was two different types of otoplasties combined. One was the standard otoplasty or the more common “pinning” type of otoplasty followed by reductive auto plasty that we removed apart of the outside of the ear to make the whole ear (helix)smaller.
